Dele Alli has shared a touching tribute on social media to the late George Baldock after the ex-Sheffield United star's untimely death aged 31.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Baldock was found dead last week at his home in Athens after his wife alerted emergency services after being unable to contact her husband. The ex-Sheffield United star has been mourned by the footballing community, and former Tottenham Hotspur star Dele has now penned an emotional tribute to his former teammate and 'brother'.

WHAT DELE SAID
On Instagram, he posted a tribute for Baldock and said: "No words I could type or pictures I could use would ever be enough. May your spirit, ambition, determination and humility live on through those who had the honour of knowing you! I love you brother and will miss you forever! My Thoughts, prayers and heart goes out to your family! Rest in peace Balders."

TEAM-MATES AT MK DONS
Baldock and Dele played together at MK Dons for two seasons between 2013 and 2015 and shared the field together 42 times during that time. The two were also on the field when MK Dons famously defeated Manchester United 4-0 in the Carabao Cup.
